Delete your Remi data

There are two separate things to delete, and both are in your hands: what is on your phone, and — only if you signed in — your account.

Your photos were never on our servers. They are encrypted on your phone and cannot be read anywhere else, so no account deletion is needed to protect them and none can reach them. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything it stored on the device. If you signed in, delete your account as well — the two are independent, and doing one does not do the other.

Delete everything — immediate

  1. Press and hold the Remi icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Choose Uninstall (or App info → Uninstall) and confirm.

That removes your photos, your journey, your streak, your routine history and your settings from the device, permanently and immediately. We hold no copy of any of it, so there is nothing left for us to delete on your behalf.

If you would rather clear your data but keep the app, use Settings → Apps → Remi → Storage → Clear storage on your phone. This has the same effect on your data and cannot be undone.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting the app does not cancel Remi Plus. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play and can only be cancelled there — manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play. Google keeps its own record of what you bought; that record belongs to your Google account, not to us, so we cannot remove it.

Photos you saved yourself

If you tapped Save to my photos or shared a before & after card, those copies live outside the app — in your own photo library, or wherever you sent them. They survive uninstalling Remi, and we can neither see nor touch them, so delete them where they live.

Deleting your account

This applies only if you signed in. Remi never requires an account, so if you never signed in there is nothing here to delete.

Open You → Manage account → Delete your account, which removes it straight away. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription and does not touch your phone — your photos, streak and history stay exactly where they are. If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, subject Delete my Remi account; we will delete it and confirm by reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. We ask you to write from that address because it is the only way we can tell the account is yours.

Deleting an account removes your email address, your sign-in identity, your display name and saved setup, your saved day count and streak, your recorded subscription status, and your membership of any friend challenges. One thing survives, detached from you: if somebody invited you, their anonymous referral code stays so they keep the credit they earned — after deletion it is a random string with no name, email or identity attached. Say so in your email if you would rather that went too.
